Hyperspace

Unusual warp speed tunnel screensaver

Hyperspace is a screen saver with a difference that sends its users on a virtual trip through a wormhole. The sci-fi themed screensaver features nebulas, flying stars and other space elements to add realism to the warp speed effect. There are several options with Hyperspace - you can change the speed, resolution of geometry, number of stars and field of view amongst many others. The overall effect is quite unique but it sometimes looks like a load of colors swirling around a screen instead of heading down a black hole. View full description

Changes

  • Brought the Mac port up to date with the Windows version.
  • The nebula and wormhole can now be enabled and disabled.

With cool nebula like things flying past, pixel and vertex shaders for those with compatible graphics cards, and a bevy of options for changing the number of stars, speed, depth of field, field of view, and more.
